Welcome to the Human Prototype blog, a space where the past and present converge to showcase the evolution of a life in progress. Inspired by my TEDx talk, "I am a Prototype," this blog is part of a broader journey of transformation through journaling, capturing the essence of living as a perpetual prototype. Each week, during 2024, I reviewed my archives from 2016, contrasting journal scans filled with drawings against the backdrop of my current experiences.

Another busy week of travels: Disneyland Paris, Normandy, Paris.
Could we appreciate the beautiful rendering of the castle?

I still find it fascinating how, as I go through this page, little video-like souvenirs appear in my mind. I wonder what would happen if I created a journal filled with “fake” memories—good memories that boost my self-worth and sense of belonging. You know, the small stuff. :)
I remember having a glass of champagne with a patisserie in the middle of the day, all by myself, on Friday. Later, I went to the Barbie Exhibition feeling a little tipsy. There was so much joy in that moment!

Now: September 16-22, 2024
This week was filled with a day-long workshop at the IDEO design studio that gave me a lot of energy, a Kirtan circle with friends, and a super creative outlet over the weekend.
During the weekend, I created conversation cards to help people integrate their shamanic ceremonies. I designed them, printed them and neatly cut them into small stacks of cards. I’m so happy with how the colors turned out! They’re a great complement to the InnerPathways app (try it here) I created a couple of months ago to help set intentions for these ceremonies. Looks like a product range may be on the horizon!
Designing those cards gave me so much joy, especially finding the right paper and learning how to use the Affinity Publisher tool. I’m hoping to create a reflection journal next. Stay tuned!

Here’s my voice-over for this week. I’m working on removing the “ummm’s” from my speech. It’s not easy and can be a little frustrating, but I really want to improve this! Thank you for your patience. 😅

- What is a Kirtan? more information here.
- I mentioned my oracle card deck, this is the one I use. Oracle card readings are a powerful tool for gaining clarity and insight into various aspects of your life. They can help you navigate challenges, uncover hidden strengths, and set meaningful intentions. I’m currently looking for pro-bono clients as I fine-tune my practice. If you’re interested, send me a message at [email protected], and we can schedule your reading!
