Welcome to the Human Prototype blog, a space where the past and present converge to showcase the evolution of a life in progress. Inspired by my TEDx talk, "I am a Prototype," this blog is part of a broader journey of transformation through journaling, capturing the essence of living as a perpetual prototype. Each week, during 2024, I reviewed my archives from 2016, contrasting journal scans filled with drawings against the backdrop of my current experiences.

Another great week in Dubai, as captured in the pictures below.
I can’t imagine going to the office today and having so much fun. While that makes me a little sad, I’m also deeply grateful for the shared moments of joy we had.
I recently caught up with a colleague from Dubai who, like me, has moved to London. We reminisced about the good times in the office and celebrated the journey we’ve been on since then.

It’s Been a Busy Week—I Crashed on Saturday.
This week has been beautifully busy, filled with both soul care and self-care. My cup was filled through shared moments of laughter, like the Pub Choir with Nic and Annelise; new experiences like a vocal coaching session with Sarka, where I began discovering my voice, and reflective moments during yoga, where I brought my drum for our teacher, Ebony, to bless us with its sound.
I also enjoyed the thrill of booking a “rush ticket” for £20 to see the musical “Fangirls,” feeling immensely grateful to live just 20 minutes from the theatre. Moments of inspiration came from wandering Camden Market, sweet moments with bubble teas, and I had some much-needed me-time with a facial and a back massage. (Dmitry, the masseur, was surprised at how activated my nervous system was during his muscle test. He mentioned needing to consult his Applied Kinesiology handbook to see how to address it, and promised to text me.)
On Saturday, I slept for almost half the day. I’m thankful that I can do that—just disappear from the world in the middle of the day with my cat by my side. I initially aimed for a quick nap, but I kept snoozing. At first, I felt guilty, but I eventually accepted that I was simply tired and that it was okay to rest.
Work Has Been Good. Life Is Better When Work Is Good.
Not much else to add here, except maybe this illustration I made with ChatGPT after a team meeting. We were discussing activities for our upcoming September meeting—no further comment needed.
